Things 4 Good 2025 Candle Fundraiser!
Please join us for the 5th Annual Things 4 Good Candle Fundraiser on November 8th and 9th!
We have the melter going, pour pots pouring, and candles curing, and hope you will join us in raising more funds for great non-profit organizations! With your generosity we've all raised over $22,000 for good causes over the years.
These candles are all hand-made by our family using the highest quality soy wax and signature wooden wicks that give that delightful crackle while they burn. They make great gifts for the holidays! 🎁

The sale will be Saturday, November 8th from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, November 9th from 12pm to 4pm at our home.

What is this candle sale you speak of?
In 2019 Jamie bought a wooden wick candle at a local Christmas market. He fell in love with the crackle sound and candles in general and decided to start making his own. He made a few, then a few more, then a few more. He gave some for gifts and several people asked if they could buy the candles to give to others. Being that Jamie is gainfully employed and isn't exactly lacking with things to do in his life, it was decided that Jamie should not start making candles on demand. Instead, we came up with the idea of a once a year sale, where all proceeds are donated to charity.
What happens to the money you raise?
During the sale we keep a careful tally of all purchases. You can allocate the donation amount of your purchase between the four non-profits selected by each family member. At the end of the sale we add it up and send the funds. All of the costs of materials for the candles are covered by us. The full sale price of each candle goes to the non-profits.
How much do candles cost?
Each 12oz candle is just a $25 donation and new this year we have XL 24oz candles for a $50 donation! Same price it has been each year.
Payment can be made in Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle.
Can I preorder candles?
Yes you can. If you would like to have us set aside candles for you to pickup at the sale we are happy to do that for any order of six or more candles. Send Jamie an email (or reply to this one) and let us know how many candles and which scents you would like us to have ready. Please plan to pickup pre-orders at the sale!
What scents will you have?
There will be a new scent this year: Charcoal Rose. Plus the returning scents Winter Wonderland, Tea Time, Apple of My Eye, Oh My Darling, True North, Pumpkin Pie, Old Fashioned, and Just Crackle (unscented).
Can I return vessels to you?
Yes! If you have empty vessels from previous sales we will gladly take them to make Rekindled candles!
So you make the candles?
Yes, we make the candles. It’s not rocket science, but we like to pretend that it is. 😄 We hand pour each beauty. We all collectively acquire the materials, manage the production, mix and pour candles, and set the wicks. We wait for them to cure and then the labels, all custom designed by us as well with Mazie's artistic side highlighted on each candle.
